The Center for Student Involvement is a collaborative team providing multifaceted opportunities and resources for students through programming, student organization support and student employment. We create an inclusive environment that cultivates leadership development, intercultural engagement and a sense of belonging. We engage students in transformative experiences that foster lifelong skills and meaningful connections.

The Division of Student Affairs values the diverse backgrounds, histories, identities and life experiences of every member of our community. CU GOLD (Gaining Opportunities through Leadership Development) provides free leadership development opportunities to all CU students as a department of the Center for Student Involvement. Our programs range from semester-long weekly seminars (the introductory Core Leadership Program and the secondary Applied Leadership Program) to a half-day intensive leadership conference. At the end of every school year we partner with the Center for Student Involvement and the Colorado Creed to host the CU Involvement Awards. In addition, CU GOLD provides free support for student organizations through our Workshops in a Box!

DeanÔÇÖs Student Cabinet is a Leeds-sponsored, student-led initiative that aims towards creating a positive shift in the Leeds Culture and uniting the community. Over the past four years, the initiative has worked towards accomplishing these overarching goals by developing our Leeds Values: Academic Excellence, Integrity, Inclusion, Community, and Forward-Looking. We have strived towards integrating these values into the Leeds culture through student engagement events, community service events, and the classroom experience. Some past accomplishments include speaker events with corporate executives Ellen Balaguer, Justin Gold of JustinÔÇÖs Nut Butters, a school-wide food drive, and the adoption of the Leeds Values into numerous curriculum syllabi.

Program Council, CU Boulder’s official music and events council, presents affordable, high-quality concerts, films and other entertainment experiences for CU Boulder students. As a student-managed department with the Center for Student Involvement, Program Council offers educational opportunities for students to gain real-world experience and insight into the entertainment industry.

Program Council is largely made up of paid student staff positions. If you're interested in joining, consider joining our Street Team (outreach) or Film Team as a volunteer or applying for a Production or Security Crew position.

HLC members learn valuable skills in communication, event marketing and time management through planning and executing signature student outreach programs, philanthropy projects and events. HLC students develop important leadership skills while working with alumni and key campus officials to influence student programming on campus. HLC members are provided with exclusive access to leadership retreats, workshops, alumni networking opportunities and the Alumni Association's Forever Buffs Network mentorship program. Plus, there's free dinner twice a month at the HLC meetings!
